THE ART OF DIANE CHALLENOR

What's that got to do with the price of fish?

dedicated to my friend Judy Noller

Artist's comment: This illustration shows a graffiti artist (vandal) writing something on a wall that is illegible. The artists message represents destruction and anger based on selfishness and ignorance. Wasted energy.

Beside the busy artist lies a bin leaking oil into the gutter and down into the stormwater drain and out to sea where the fish swim.

I wanted to portray the wasted energy of street art when more important issues scream out for an artist's attention.
